Frédéric Pla
Fred entered journalism in 1999 as a photographer, then developed his writing as a reporter for the first French edition of Metro. His love for design led him to become a freelance art director and editorial consultant for a number of publications including Metro, Bild Zeitung, and La Tribune. He also worked as a project manager in the marketing industry. Fred joined Garcia Media in 2009 as a designer on the relaunch of l’Equipe. He teaches Master’s courses in visual journalism and is a passionate autodidact.
