User Interface Design
Design is about solving problems and creating an engaging experience for the user, while facilitating easy navigation and readability and supporting your brand, ultimately making it easy for users to consume the information.
Information Architecture
The proper development of the site’s content and structure is a key ingredient in the overall experience. The site’s information architecture (IA) outlines the primary “user paths”, ensuring the user can easily get to the content they want. In addition to our IA services included with complete projects, we also offer separate IA and code reviews of your existing sites and web applications.
Strategy
An important aspect of web site development or redesign is creating a strategy and organizational workflow. We help you define your requirements for staffing, editorial and production so you are fully prepared to provide an exceptional experience for your visitors.
User Experience
While in print the goal is to induce reading, online the goal is to induce interaction. How the user interacts with the brand, the content, other users, as well as the print and mobile editions plays an important role in building a strong relationship between you and your users.
Accessibility
Making content available to any user on any device or platform is a responsibility for content providers on the web (and in many cases, a legal requirement). Users with disabilities, alternate devices, and as well as information sharing are all important factors. We provide accessibility reviews and audits to help you create and maintain a truly accessible site.
Usability
Above all else, a web site should be usable. This is taken for granted too many times online, resulting in a weak presence and very little user participation. The best way to improve the user experience and increase user loyalty is to evaluate and improve your site’s usability. We can run an expert usability report (including physical user testing) to help determine where your site or application requires attention.

Mar. 16th The Havana of the 50s: I remember it well
TAKEAWAY: Anyone who wishes to reminisce or to discover the Havana of the 1950s and early 60s only needs to turn to the works of that best of Cuban writers, the late Guillermo Cabrera Infante, who died in 2006. Now, a new novel by him is published post-humously, Cuerpos Divinos (Divine Bodies), and it is yet another postcard of the city of my childhood. I remember it well, including Cabrera Infante’s widow, the actress Miriam Gomez, with whom I acted in a long running play in Havana. AND: Images from my iPad sketches PLUS: Romania Libera one day after: some talk about “pill box” logos
