Die Zeit celebrates birthday in grand style

Take a look at these pages from the Jubilee edition of Die Zeit this week, celebrating the German's newspaper 70th birthday.  The design of these pages is typical of what Die Zeit has gotten us accustomed to. Take a look and celebrate with the Die Zeit team.

Many thanks to Haika Hinze, art director,  and Jan Kny. associate art director of Die Zeit, for sending us these pdfs of pages that are part of a special supplement recounting the history and celebrating the 70th birthday of Germany's intellectual newspaper.

The special section is full of stories recounting the trajectory of this iconic weekly, and, of course, it is exquisitely designed.

Congrats to all and a happy birthday to Die Zeit, one of my all time favorite projects.
